Research on the Impact of Artificial Intelligence Technological Innovation on the High-Quality Development of Future Industries: A Perspective Based on Intellectual Property Protection

  • With the in-depth development of the new round of technological revolution, breakthroughs have been made in artificial intelligence technology innovation, which can drive the high-quality development of future industries by comprehensively enhancing the R&D, production and supply chain efficiency of future industries. Based on the panel data of 30 provinces in China from 2011 to 2023, this paper deeply examines the impact of artificial intelligence technology innovation on the high-quality development of future industries. The benchmark regression results show that artificial intelligence technology innovation has a significant driving effect on the high-quality development of future industries. The mechanism test results indicate that the activity of innovation and entrepreneurship can play a mediating role in the impact of artificial intelligence technology innovation on the high-quality development of future industries. The moderation effect results suggest that intellectual property protection can play a moderating role in the promoting effect of artificial intelligence technology innovation on the high-quality development of future industries. The heterogeneity results show that in the eastern region, regions with high levels of informatization and high levels of marketization, the promoting effect of artificial intelligence technology innovation on the high-quality development of future industries is more significant.
