Identify the Configurations of Factors Influencing Employee Job Performance in the Service Industry in the Context of Artificial Itelligence——Based on Fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis

  • The wide application of artificial intelligence technology makes service industry enterprises face new problems of management change, and how to improve employee performance in artificial itelligence situations has become an important topic that needs to be explored urgently. In this paper, from the group perspective, we explore the impact of the interaction and combination of multiple elements at the organizational, team, and individual levels on the performance of employees in the service industry. We find that: there are six combinatorial configurations that produce high levels of job performance in artificial itelligence contexts and three combinatorial configurations that produce non-high job performance; and the three variables of team empowerment, intelligence-enhanced cognition, and intelligence-alternative cognition play important roles in producing high employee job performance.
